Message From the Principal
As our fall semester begins to fade and the colder weather nestles in, Memorial Intermediate students and staff continue to work towards higher levels of achievement. Our efforts in the classroom will yield results that will make our community proud. Such pride in our school will enhance the climate of our campus and district.
In addition to the instruction students are receiving, our faculty and staff are working on including parents and community members into our daily efforts. Our monthly film nights occur the first Thursday of the month and are aligned with a specific character trait. The turnout for these events has been spectacular to this point, and we anticipate continued success.
Memorial Intermediate will hold its annual HOOPS for Heart basketball tournament on December 20, 2007. The proceeds for this tournament will benefit the American Heart Association and the students participating will have memories that will last a lifetime. I applaud the coachers for organizing the event and the students and community members who help contribute to this worthy cause.
